A sport that's easy to start, impossible to put down.

Padel is a doubles racket sport played on an enclosed glass court. It's easier to learn than tennis, more social than pickleball, and - after 50 years quietly dominating Spain and Latin America - it's arriving in the United States. Padel//Swt is the club built for it.

Two players on a padel court

What is padel?

Padel was invented in Acapulco in 1969 and grew up in Spain, Argentina and Mexico. Today there are more than 30 million players in over 130 countries. In the United States, the number of courts has grown from fewer than 50 in 2020 to a projected 30,000 by 2030 - and every major American city is scrambling to catch up.

The rules are simple: doubles only, underhand serve, walls are in play, tennis scoring. If you've ever picked up a racket, you'll rally in your first hour. If you haven't, you'll rally in your second.

Doubles by default

Padel is almost always played two-versus-two, which makes it inherently social - you show up with a friend, or you meet three.

Enclosed glass court

The court is roughly a third the size of a tennis court and framed by glass walls and mesh. The ball stays in play off the walls, like squash.

Underhand serve

Serves are hit at waist height, below the belt. No 120 mph aces, no intimidating power - rallies start immediately.

Solid, stringless racket

Perforated foam-core rackets are forgiving and easy to control. Beginners rally on day one.

Same scoring as tennis

15, 30, 40, game. Best of three sets. If you've watched tennis on TV, you already know how to follow it.

A 90-minute match

Book a court, play a match, grab a drink after. It fits the way Americans actually use their evenings and weekends.

Play, train, recover - under one roof.

A Padel//Swt club is designed to sit alongside its two sister concepts from Fitura Brands: Core Precinct, an athletic reformer Pilates concept combining strength-led coaching, measurable progression and modern club energy, and contrastheory, a contrast therapy and recovery studio built around hot, cold and breathwork protocols. Where they are developed together, your match, your strength work and your recovery all live at the same address.

One address, one week of training

Book a court Tuesday, take a reformer class Thursday, finish Saturday in contrast therapy. No second membership, no second drive, no juggling three apps and three schedules.

A complete program, not a single workout

Padel builds the cardio, agility and coordination. Reformer Pilates builds the strength, mobility and control that keep you on court. Contrast therapy handles the soreness. Together they compound - each one makes the others work better.

Built for real life

Play with friends, train on your own, bring your partner for a class while you play a match, and meet in the clubhouse afterward. One club that suits everyone in the household, at every level, in the time you actually have.

Why padel is taking off in the U.S.

Tennis players want a shorter match. Pickleball players want a court that doesn't max out at the intermediate level. Everyone else wants a sport that's genuinely social and doesn't require ten years of lessons. Padel is the answer to all three.

Why people keep coming back.

Padel is a rare thing - a sport that's genuinely fun the first time you play it. That's the hook. What keeps people is the community, the low injury rate, and the way it fits into a busy American week.

Full-body, low-impact

Padel gets your heart rate to zone 2–3 for the full match without pounding your knees. Cardio, agility, coordination and core - packaged as fun, not as a workout.

Fastest onboarding in sport

Most players rally in their first session and play a real match by session two. That's rare - and it's the single biggest reason padel spreads by word of mouth.

Genuinely social

Doubles-only means every match is four people. Padel doesn't just add exercise to your week; it adds a group of people.

Ages with you

Because the court is small and the racket is forgiving, padel is playable from your teens into your seventies. Families play it together.

Inside a Padel//Swt club.

A Padel//Swt club is more than courts. It's the room you walk into, the coach who greets you, the recovery space you use afterward, and the people you keep running into. Every square foot is designed around the way padel is actually played and enjoyed.

The Courts

Panoramic glass courts built to World Padel Tour specification - the same surface, lighting and dimensions used at the professional level. Reservable for open play, clinics and leagues.

The Clubhouse

A room worth arriving early for. Espresso in the morning, cold pressed after your match, comfortable seating, fast Wi-Fi. Padel is a social sport; the clubhouse is the second half of the experience.

Coaching & Clinics

Certified coaches running structured programming from first-touch beginner clinics to competitive ladder play - built on a curriculum developed in-house, not borrowed from tennis.

Recovery

Mobility, stretch and contrast therapy spaces so you can play three times a week without feeling it on Monday. Recovery is programmed into the club, not an afterthought.

Pro Shop

A tight, edited selection of rackets, footwear and apparel - the pieces our pros actually recommend, with in-club demos before you buy.

The Community

Members-first leagues, mixers, tournaments and clinics. The people you play your first match with are usually the people you're still playing with a year later.
